Shelter For The Savior Drive

The Plaster House is where children in Tanzania are treated for correctable conditions and disabilities.  These children are often subjected to scorn, ridicule, and cast aside by Tanzanian society. The Plaster House offers holistic care to overcome treatable conditions, such as burns (open fires are a main way of cooking), club foot, cleft palate, and skeletal problems from toxic levels of fluoride naturally occurring in the water supply.

Created by Lutheran mission visionaries Dr. Mark and Linda Jacobson, The Plaster House treated 685 children last year.  The Plaster House continues to expand and heal a vulnerable population.

For over 30 years the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit continues to support the vision of the Jacobsons.
